Looks like we might have a fourth joining us in the Windy City for 10/10/10. Nathan Best is a high school friend of mine and a friend of Garett's since elementary. We'll let him introduce himself.
Here's my workout from yesterday morning.
Garmin Connect - Activity Details for Run #11
Easy 7 miles (out and back) from the house. Morning is definitely the best time to run; nice and quiet and cool temperatures. However, waking up at 6:00am on a consistent basis is miserable. That's why I like to incorporate a lunch time run a few days during the week. Lunch time running mixes things up, and makes the day go by faster. I officially start training for my next marathon on Monday so I'm taking it pretty easy this week. I'm running the Mardi Gras Marathon (Feb. 28) with my girlfriend in order to get her qualified for the Boston Marathon. She's a much more experienced runner than me, so hopefully with her experience and me pacing her we'll be able to get her qualified.
Sounds like a good run Gary Boy. As much as you love a TV and the random conversation of the person next to you on the treadmill, keep running outside.
