I despise running on the treadmill. There's nothing worse than running for an hour and realizing you haven't gone anywhere. Plus, I always find myself looking at the timer every 5-10 seconds, so my treadmill runs seem like an eternity. It doesn't even help if I watch TV on the treadmill, I still end up staring at the clock. Also, at least you have scenery outside.
I was talking with Nathan today on Facebook. Readers might remember Nathan as a "guest" poster on the blog. Anyways, he and his girlfriend are coming to run the same Cellular South Half Marathon that I'm running on Saturday. I highly encourage anyone in the area to come run it. It was my first ever half marathon last year, so I'm anxious to see my improvement with a year of training under my belt.
