Sunday, January 17, 2009 - Ryan

I'm dedicating this post to marathon recovery. I ran for the first time since the Blues Marathon today. I did 45 minutes on the treadmill on the Cross Country setting. I usually do Manual, but I thought I might add some hills since those tend to take it out of me in races.

Here is a link to a marathon recovery program by Hal Higdon. I plan on taking it easy this week and then resuming training for the Mardi Gras Full Marathon. I asked my boss about the course and he said it was perfectly flat, so hopefully I can train well for a few weeks and run a PR if the weather is right.
